The Buddenberg Arboretum in Bad Driburg, named after its founder, the entrepreneur Adolf Buddenberg, was established in 1965 and 1966. "Arboretum" comes from the latin word "arbor", meaning "tree". Many impressive trees, e. g. an old Ginkgo, can be seen in this forest-like park, following an approximately 1 kilometer long circular path.
In the center of the park a meadow with old apple varieties can be visited. Refuges in the park can be used for rest or breaks. Two large kaleidoscopes are also located on the grounds of the arboretum.
