I created the illustrated map of my hometown Bad Driburg as part of my distance learning course »Illustrator Masterclass« at the »OfG / Online-Schule für Gestaltung«. The task was to design different variants of a city map, in which the construction of the map with its paths and streets is always the same.
In addition to the illustrative variant, I designed a second, factual city map, that works with very reduced graphic elements. The visual appearance of the map can be changed with just a few mouse clicks simply by switching layers.
