As part of my distance learning course »Graphic Design« at the »OfG / Online-Schule für Gestaltung« I designed a logo for an imaginary transportation company.
In 1898 the company founder started transporting goods with a horse-drawn vehicle. Today the company focuses on transportation for industry, trade and construction.
With »GROSSES FUHRWERK« I devised a name that is reminiscent of the company founder's work at the end of the 19th century and also refers to today's large vehicles for transportation.
Logo design process
The wagon wheel of an old horse-drawn vehicle symbolizes the origin of the company's history.
